On Sunday April 28, 2024, the Oakville and District Labour Council (ODLC) will be hosting a Day of Mourning Service at 120 Navy Street Oakville ON – Oakville Centennial Square.
The ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM
The National Day of Mourning is observed every year on April 28 to commemorate and remember workers who have been killed, injured, or have become ill because of workplace hazards.
The service will include speakers and an opportunity for Local Labour organizations to pay their respects or lay a wreath at the Worker’s Memorial Plaque.
