Halton Regional Chair Endorsement

| On Thursday at our General Membership meeting we had the opportunity to have a discussion with Andrea Grebenc – the only Regional Chair candidate to accept our invitation. After a good discussion with Andrea and further discussions amongst ourselves we voted to endorse her as our choice for Regional Chair. We believe what she stands for reflects our values and her experience with building relationships and coalitions will be a positive for Halton. The experience of the education unions with which she worked and met with monthly was positive. While there were difficult conversations for sure, they know Andrea to be someone who believes in the power of giving diverse voices the opportunity to impact decisions and policy making.
